Abstract

Five selections of raspberry [Rubus idaeus] from Horticultural Research International, East Malling, and 6 from the Scottish Crop Research Institute (SCRI), Dundee, were evaluated in field trials. Data are presented from the SCRI trial on growth, yields, ripening season and other characteristics. Glen Lyon and Glen Garry were released in 1989. Gaia was released in 1991, but tomato black ring nepovirus destroyed all propagation materials, delaying release. Brief variety descriptions are given.
